Procurement Manager

About the Employer

Industry leading supplier of products placed within BWS Sector

About the Role
  • Control and oversea the implantation of strategy and purchasing process
  • Liaise with internal teams and departments as well as senior stakeholders and directors
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring KPIs are met and approaching new suppliers if required
  • Research new products and services for the company to meet needs as they arise, ensuring that they meet all relevant regulatory requirements, and that they offer good value for money and the requisite quality.
  • Analyse market trends, seasonal peaks
  • Manage budgets as required, ensuring they are kept up to date, and that accurate reports can be run on procurement data on a regular basis to inform senior management on total group, business unit, team and individual team member expenditure and on business trends.
  • Handle queries from potential suppliers and support the team in handling general procurement queries.


Requirements
  • Substantial experience within a procurement role, ideally within Packaging, FMCG, Beverage or other manufacturing business
  • Able to deliver an excellent procurement strategy, on time project deliver
  • Proven experience of managing multiple budgets
  • Excellent level of numeracy and good financial analysis skills
  • Superlative negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to network and build positive relationships at all levels both within and outside the organisation
  • CIPS qualification


Salary Permanent salary ranging up to £45000
