About the Role:
This role is on the food side of the business and is focused on the use of the in-store floor space. You will be responsible for developing the macro space strategy within the regions that you will manage. You will drive improvement of the space, flow and sales performance as part of this role. Travelling out to stores and building relationships with store management will be key to succeeding. You will base decisions on customer experience and keep them at the heart of every decision. You will develop strategies and plans for developing the use of floor space across the seasons keeping potential peaks in mind.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience developing a customer focused retail floor space strategy. You will be able to visualise a 2D floorplan and implement the improvements. You will utilise your analytical skills to drive improved performance. You will feel comfortable discussing your thoughts and opinions with stakeholders and senior management. You will have experience in creating a thought out strategy based on the analysis of raw data.
To be considered for this role as a minimum you must have excellent analytical skills including data manipulation in Excel. You must have experience creating a strategic plan and have experience in floor space planning.
Circa £25,000 - £40,000 (Pro rata) + DOE
