An outstanding opportunity has developed within this £Multi-billion food business that manufacture and supply some of the most recognizable household Brands in the UK and internationally. Due to expansion investment we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Senior National Account Manager who will be working with one of their biggest FMCG accounts.

 

The Role

 

Reporting to the Sales Controller you will be responsible for develop this true partnership relationship still further through a combination effective category management, NPD and the development of commercial pricing strategies. This will also include ownership control for:  

 

  • Full P&L and KPI accountability for your strategic customer.


  • Customer NPD development - productivity and cost target management.


  • Core category growth leadership and influence: external and internal.


  • Maintaining a value added service to ensure successful relationships.


  • Identify key areas for growth and gross profit increase.

     

    The Person

     


  • Degree qualified or equivalent you will have gained National Account Manager experience in a blue chip FMCG environment working on a high profile customer base.


  • Evidence of negotiation skills and strategic growth contribution required.


  • Ability to deliver KPI in timely manner is essential.


  • A proven track record of innovative and stretching growth.


  • Technical food and beverage knowledge would be an advantage.


  • Strong P&L management experience.


  • Strong ability to influence.


  • Good organisation & time management skills with an outstanding ability to prioritise work.

     

    Your ability to demonstrate a track record of developing and managing key customer relationships is crucial as is your commercial and financial awareness.  You will be motivated, driven and resilient with exceptional enthusiasm
