We are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to lead the local market for two key brands – combined RSV c£120m. One holds number 1 status, the other is a hero brand with huge scope; both operating within a highly competitive and dynamic food category. With lots of innovation, investment and support there are lots of opportunity to have fun with these brands!  As Senior Brand Manager; you will have full P&L responsibility for the portfolio working cross functionally in the UK as well as leading the alliance with the regional Marketing Manager. The role also offers coaching and mentoring of the wider BM & ABM which will build your leaderships ready for the next move.

In fact the reason the role exists is due to the current incumbent being promoted into a regional Marketing Manager role, as did the previous person in role. This business is renowned as a people centric career employer and offers a real commitment to personal development & career progression.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to stretch your strategic and commercial capabilities, taking full P&L responsibility for the business. You will be responsible for the strategic development, planning and activation of the Annual Brand Plan and ensuring this plan delivers revenue and profit targets.  Operating at a local level, you will help lead the overall brand strategy with the goal of maximising the long term equity and brand profitability, and will be required to provide appropriate leadership to the wider business, working cross-functionally on all growth initiatives.

We are looking for functionally established SBM/MM’s individuals who are ‘business owners’; used to making decisions and recommendations across their brands / portfolios with a track record of creating the strategies to build and deliver against plans. This is a big chunky local market SBM role with a business in great growth, with amazing innovation coming through and have a have a consumer centric culture. After delivering within the initial role you can expect progression into Senior leadership role or a move into their regional and global Marketing teams - which can be based in London or in Europe or Australia.
