Business Development Executives
The role of the Business Development Executives (BDEs) is to maximise availability, visibility and ROS to targeted On Trade customers for the Sheffield Region.
The UK on trade wines and spirits market is a well-developed, competitive environment with a number of large competitors selling to well developed on trade segments. The on trade is a complex channel with a number of sub channels (National wholesaler, multiple pub operators, independent bars, regional brewers). The channel is an important contributor to the profit of our client in the UK but it also plays a vital role in building the equity of our brands with consumers.
The BDE roles are home based, working within a defined geographical area, therefore it is required that he/she lives within this territory to understand the nature and culture within. Although opportunities exist in all segments of the On-trade, the calls will be predominantly from the Premium sector in alignment with our brand portfolio. On average a BDE makes 9 planned calls per day and has an account base of approximately 235 outlets.
Needs to be based in Sheffield.
Graduate calibre (although this isn't essential)
Ability to build strong relationships

Account management experience
