This is now a very exciting time to join a fun and forward thinking company. The Company has 27 years of trading heritage and has recently implemented a new board and generation of directors, and the future looks very bright.

The role of the Business Manager;

Reporting directly to the Sales Director you will have close links to the senior management team and will evolve this role to your full capability. Your main focus as a Business Manager will be to attract new business and manage existing accounts by cross selling a plethora of exciting brands and showcasing new and exciting product development. You will have exclusivity in your own territory calling on independent retailers. You will be responsible for managing your own diary and reporting back on your KPIs.

Responsibilities of the Business Manager;

Managing an existing client portfolio, visiting clients working on existing trading relationships and seeking those new opportunities

Promoting brands and where required taking transfer orders direct to the business for next day delivery.

Keeping your finger on the pulse of latest food trends, consumer behaviours and engaged with your market.

Representing the company with the highest of standards at all times.

Working with the Sales Director to establish best practice and evolution.

The Person:

The Business Manager will be responsible for engaging with the existing and established account base, growing these trading relationships by converting mutual business opportunities whilst seeking out new relationships and opportunities. Your opportunities lay within the broad FMCG and independent retail landscape. The ideal candidate will be energetic, determined, driven and hungry for success with a passion and energy for snacking, confectionary and food. Existing experience in this role is an ideal, however, we shall consider applicants with the right attitude and skill set from related backgrounds such as retail, marketing and call centre.
