Business Development Manager – Foodservice & New Business
Our client is an ethical and award winning beverage start up with a global presence across grocery, trendy hotels, restaurants and cafés. They can’t count how many Great Taste Awards they have won!
On a bid to reduce environmental impact, they are a major driver behind the war on plastic. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager. Reporting into the Head of Sales and working alongside 6 other super individuals who share your passion!
Your role will involve:
Overseeing the Food service and New Business sales strategy, directly managing the key accounts Bidfood and key contract caterers Vacherin, Baxter Storey and CH&Co as well as pursuing new business leads within foodservice and white space.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Build leading customer relationships to grow the existing business and develop new opportunities
- Demand forecasting, work closely with Supply Chain to avoid out of stocks
- Full Sales P&L ownership
- Selling direct to trade and consumers at key events like London Coffee Festival, Taste of London etc.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong computer literacy - Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- 1-2 years FMCG sales experience as a minimum
- P&L Understanding
- Passion for sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Attention to detail
