£25,000 - £28,000 + Package

A long standing client of mine is currently looking for a passionate up and coming Area Sales Manager to join their thriving business within the Garden Industry. The right candidate will be based in the North East as this will be the most effective way to manage the territory, and they will have a passion for sales within the garden industry.

A well-established, family run business within the consumer goods industry, my client specialises in all things garden, with a wide range of products and accessories for any and all variety of garden. Having grown from strength to strength since their inception, the business is now looking to continue their upwards trend going into 2019 and the future.

This role will focus on the independent retail and garden centre channel, as this is the primary customer for the company. You will manage the full portfolio of products that the business has to offer and will manage the territory effectively with the view to increase the turnover of your account base, through growing existing accounts, and generating new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be located in the North East, ideally between South Yorkshire and the Scottish border. You will be driven and have a motivated attitude towards new business and relationship building. You will also need to have the ability to work autonomously on the assigned territory and be able to work from home the majority of the time.

  • Some working knowledge of the garden industry
