Senior National Account Manager – Grocery Retail Multiples
Flexible base / South East – M3/M4 corridor ideal
Attractive basic, bonus, car + benefits

We are Savencia — one of the largest speciality cheese manufacturers in the UK. We are a very proud, family-owned French business, with a heritage of producing high quality cheese.

We are no.2 in France and 5th largest in the world, with sales of €4.4bn through 120 companies and have 18,000 employees.

We manufacture and market a broad range of cheese brands, which in the UK include, Le Rustique and Saint Agur, both of which are fully supported with on-going above-the-line marketing, including television advertising, together with a strong Private Label portfolio across the UK market.

Here at Savencia, we are planning to grow. With substantial investment in production and marketing, we are looking to double our sales in the UK over the next 5 years, which will prove both challenging and exciting, as well as providing anticipated career developing opportunities within our commercial team. As part of this growth objective, we are looking to appoint an upward curve career developing National Account Manager, who has been well-trained and has gained hands-on experience in managing any of the major grocery retail multiple accounts with a recognised FMCG branded food, confectionery or drinks company.

You are currently operating at NAM level and are ready to take your next career step, where you will directly manage two of our major grocery retail customers.  Your experience and profitable sales growth success has been achieved using all modern FMCG account management tools and processes.  These should include: category management, JBP negotiation and working cross functionally with all key stakeholders, both internally and externally.  Drive, energy and highly driven ‘brand sell’ influencing skills will be key to achieving success in this role.

If you believe this is the right career move moment for you, please apply to our Retained Recruitment Partner – Mark Smith – mark@smithcarey.co.uk – quoting reference MS/2018, enclosing your up-to-date CV, together with full benefits package details. Alternatively, call Mark Smith for a confidential initial discussion on 07747 847214.

All third party applications will be referred to our Retained Recruitment Partner – SmithCarey.

Closing date for applications: 5 December 2018
