CSG are currently retained with a market leading Toy business which have a great reputation in the market place. They are a market leader within their category and are now looking for a New National Sales Manager to join their team and drive new business.

The Candidate

My client is looking for someone who is an experienced National Account Manager who has been working within the Toys, Gift, or Nursery industry. Ideally you will have 3-5 years' experience within one or more of these markets, selling into accounts such as one or more of the Top 4 Grocers, and high street retailers.

Ideally you will be based in/around the London area for an easy commute to the head office. You will be looking for an opportunity to be involved with a fast paced, highly successful business and possess a highly commercial and innovative mind with an ability to think on your feet.

Initially the position will focus on new business however you will inherit Key Accounts which is incentivised by a lucrative bonus scheme.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will soon be responsible for a number of the businesses existing high profile accounts as well as looking for other ways to develop new business. You will be responsible for all aspects of the accounts which will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Establish strategic business development plan
  • Input on new product development
  • Drive new business and secure new national accounts
  • Develop joint business plans with retailers
  • Full responsibility for sales process
  • Analysis of product performance
  • Forecasting


You will be expected to manage your own diary and make your own appointments as this role comes with a high level of autonomy.

When you are not out visiting customers you will ideally be office based in the North East London, where you are able to work alongside the other areas of the business such as design and marketing.

There is an option to work home based some days a week dependent on the experience of the candidate.
