Your new company
This is a great opportunity to work for a growing, ambitious company with hundreds of stores across the UK, who are a leader in the FMCG Retail sector. An expanding company with ambitious growth plans over the coming years will result in a significant number of new store openings and thus, they require a Space Planning Team Leader (Manager) to work within the Commercial team at their West Midlands office.

Your new role
In this role you will play a lead role in the analysis of micro space to maximise productivity and thus have a direct impact on sales and profit. You will be required to continually monitor and analyse products in the range to ensure each item justifies it's space allocation within the store. To deliver this, you will be required to lead a small team to manage and control planograms and range in stores, and ensure their implementation plans are adhered to. You and your team will also be heavily involved in range reviews with the the Buyers to help them use all available insight to deliver customer-centric product ranges and layouts.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have Space and / or Range Planning experience in a fast moving retail environment, coupled with a sound understanding of a space planning system / software application such as JDA, Apollo, Galleria or Spaceman. You will need to have lead and managed a small team, and demonstrate where you have aided in their learning and development. You will also be highly analytical with good problem solving ability as well as having good communication and influencing skills.
