The Role:
Export Sales Manager - Home-based
CSG are working with a fantastic fast growing Vegetable business who turn over in excess of £20M annually. They have established themselves as manufactures for companies like Unilever, Mars, and Nestle among many others. They are looking for driven and ambitious European Account Manager to drive the business forward. This is a purely new business position and you will have to be a true door opener to be successful.
Role
As the European Account Manager you will report directly into the Commercial Director, You will be responsible for growing new business avenues. This is a home based role and can be based anywhere in Europe that is accessible to an airport. There will be a large amount of international travel for this role and lots of exciting opportunities to pursue.
The candidate
A critical requirement for this role is that you understand or have previously worked in the Dehydrated and freeze dry products or ingredients. The business has strong growth plans and the capacity to grow to a £60M business in the next 5 years. With this in mind there is a huge earning potential with every piece of new business picked up you will earn 1% share of this.
What you will need to do:
- Establish a clear, focused business development strategy and plan will be key to realising our true international potential - focused on building strength and depth in a small number of large markets.
- Building on and leveraging your existing key retailer relationships along with identifying and developing new, relevant contacts and relationships through both your network and own direct efforts.
- Understanding the category and category drivers will be key to you developing a compelling profitable market proposition.
- Understanding the route to market options will be critical, along with the cost-to-serve structures associated with these, and the with the ability to help source and manage any relevant 3rd party partners to help realise the market opportunity
It is vital that you have held an Export position for 2+ years. You will be entrepreneurial, a self-starter, love a new challenge and an excellent net worker, confident working independently, whilst valuing and welcoming the insight, support and direction of a larger, successful organisation who values & rewards success.
