We have been briefed by a leading supplier of branded alcoholic beverages to help them identify a new addition to their international sales team.

A business enjoying rapid growth and impressive financial results, they supply their portfolio of brands to customers across the UK and Europe.

With an entrepreneurial culture and style, they offer a rewarding environment for driven individuals keen to accelerate their career development in return for strong results.

The business is a big advocate of people development, and so have asked us to identify ambitious candidates with experience of the drinks industry and familiar trade terminology such as on-trade, off-trade etc, looking for an opportunity to develop their career in international sales.

The role presents a great opportunity to inherit a portfolio of existing European markets with huge growth potential, and to make a real positive early impression in this fast-paced and ambitious business.

You will need to travel internationally on a monthly basis to visit your customers and maintain existing relationships. The role offers great autonomy and the chance to shape a sales strategy, overall budget and build the account base. It’s also a highly incentivised role with the opportunity to significantly boost your earnings.

In order to be considered for the role you must have at least 2 years previous sales experience, ideally in the drinks industry or at least be able to demonstrate knowledge of this sector.  You are probably a Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager or Key Account Manager in drinks, selling into UK retailers or food service channels. 

In personal terms, you will demonstrate high energy levels and plenty of desire – this is a business very much on the upward trajectory – so it’s vital we find people who will flourish in this type of environment.
