Campbell’s Shortbread is a successful family owned company based in Callander, Perthshire established 1830.  They have a very diverse customer base and sell into the tourist sector as well as export and the discount sector.

Objectives

We look to grow profitably into each of the sectors and to this end are looking for a candidate with strong LIVE contacts into the supermarket and discount sector and an ability to develop new business into the convenience and wholesale sector.

They will be responsible for pricing up and preparing presentations for key customers.

They will also be a key element in feeding back market information to management so they can with others continually plan new products and packaging on an ongoing basis.

The candidate will be home based, but will need to visit the company office in Callander. Expected to travel nationally.   They will spend nights away from home as and when required.

They will be able to work on their own initiative with excel spreadsheets, pricing up and preparing quotations with terms and conditions for customers and negotiating to maximise profitability for the company.

This is a key core management position with room to grow within the company and the successful applicant will be working as part of a team with heads of all departments.
