We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Controller based at our site in Northampton.
As Commercial Controller you will lead your team to create and deliver value growth to the business in one of the most prestigious and exciting category partnerships in the sector. Food to Go continues to grow and evolve quicker than any other market and you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the delivery of sustainable profitable sales and profit growth through effective leadership and customer management.Main responsibilities
As Commercial Controller you will be working alongside the commercial cross functional teams of Product Development, Marketing and Insight and Customer supply in order to identify Channel and New Business strategies to grow annual revenue and profit which meets company and customer expectations.
You will also coordinate customer interfaces with key internal functions (Technical, Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Planning and E2E) to ensure a consistent business approach and to maximise the full Value creation opportunities across the value chain.
You will need strong leadership skills, a proven track record of delivery in a key customer account and high levels of enthusiasm and passion to lead your team to Win!
As Commercial Controller you will outline and create Channel and New Business strategies designed to grow annual revenue and profit which meets company/customer expectations.
You will also coordinate customer interfaces with key internal functions (Product Development, Technical, Operations, Finance & Planning) to ensure a consistent business approach as well as engaging with Marketing and Product Development teams and, in line with customer requirements, develop and deliver new/refreshed product ranges to market
You will need strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate others and a proven track record of developing a high performing team.Ideal candidate
- Educated to degree level and/ or significant experience in business
- Strong Leadership skills
- Broad knowledge of the convenience food market, in particular Food to Go
- FMCG operational understanding and cross functional experience
- Food Retail experience
- E2e value chain experience of delivery
- Business and commercial acumen
