SENIOR BRAND MANAGER - ECOMMERCE

AMSTERDAM | FMCG | €65-74,000 + BONUS, BENEFITS

Working within the Global eCommerce team for an internationally dominant Consumer Goods giant, you will have full accountability to champion global strategic projects focusing on new growth opportunities and margin enhancement across all brands and categories within the division. You will be involved in the geographical expansion of the brands, and detailing what the cross-category functions will look like. An integral part of this position is the strategic planning and delivery across eCommerce channels and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate key e-commerce assortment issues, channel challenges and brand e-commerce desires
  • Converge insights into solutions, prioritized by revenue potential per brand
  • Manage development of solutions, including funding, listing, regulations, etc.
  • Scale up winning solutions across markets, channels and ideally also brands
  • Work together with business development role to find quick wins (e.g. physical bundling) to also have a top-line impact in the earlier days
  • Work together with global innovation team to also help bringing long-term e-commerce solutions to market
  • Manage launch of new products (and possible future brands), making sure we as a business do everything to make your solutions work from a P&L perspective
  • Candidate profile:

  • Successful marketing experience and skills gained in FMCG markets within a commercially oriented environment
  • Strong conceptual, financial and analytical skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and achievement
  • Effective communication and influencing abilities
  • Must be agile to drive and thrive within the constantly changing and fluid eComm environment
  • Resilient and able to respond under pressure
  • A good mix between a creative thinker and an effective operatorEntrepreneurial mindset, but also comfortable in ‘speed over perfection’. Build MVPs, launch, test and iterate
  • Comfortable in cross-functional setup, talking to commercial side of business as well as for example supply chain and packaging/ R&D roles
  • Established internal network, also a strong influencer and good project manager
  • Educated to minimum bachelor’s degree level ideally in a business-related subject - from a highly respected University
  • Ambitious and keen to take on responsibility in an organisation that provides a high level of autonomy and individual responsibility
  • Willing to relocate internationally to pursue career opportunities
