Head of Shopper & Customer Activations
Our client is an instantly recognizable food producer with some of the UK’s most loved brands under their belt, as well as a strong own label business producing the Grocery market’s more tasty indulgences. They are steeped in history but after huge investment and a new, privately owned, international sister company, renowned for building profitable food companies, offering a reinvigorated boost to the business, they are on the next step of their journey and looking to expand. Due to yet another brand acquisition and unprecedented growth, they are investing heavily in acquiring new talent and looking to recruit a new Head of Shopper and Customer Activations
Sitting in a central, influential position, within their Senior Management Team, you will:
- Take 1st and 2nd tier line management responsibility of a team of 6 of both Shopper Marketing and Strategy Managers
- Be responsible for working with wider Marketing and Insight teams to execute brands plans in market
- Lead creative plans and marketing agencies to deliver tailored shopper marketing in line with customer strategy
- Manage PR plans in Trade for innovation and brand overhauls
- Work with wider team to help recognise 4P Marketing strategy with customer centric plans
- Drive creative and innovative shopper marketing solutions with exciting POS

The successful candidate will be operating as a leader within Shopper and/or Customer Activations currently. You will be a creative person with the ability to network across the business, working closely with internal and external teams to help launch exciting shopper marketing and activations and drive end to end marketing plans. You will be a proven leader and be able to demonstrate delivering through your team. You will be customer focussed and be able to work collaboratively to align brand plans with customer strategies.
You will be entrepreneurially minded and be excited by a fast paced environment and a ‘roll your sleeves up’ culture. Roles with such ownership and opportunity seldom come on the market and this is an opportunity to do things differently.
