Head of Marketing, Food Business, UK Wide with travel

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly successful branded food business setting up a presence in the UK/Europe as Head of Marketing.

This is a newly created role as Head of Marketing reporting to the MD of UK & Europe.

My Client is a highly successful branded International food business who are expanding into UK and Europe.

As Head of Marketing you will be part of the small leadership that will be established in the UK. Therefore, the role is very broad and complex with focus on delivering a sustainable Marketing Strategy that will support the growth aspirations of the business.

We are looking for someone with an outstanding track record of delivery in the Marketing Function having worked/trained within a blue-chip environment. They will exhibit blue chip behaviours, adopting a collaborative approach with stakeholders across the Group.

To be successful you will need to be well-versed with leading edge strategies and tools used for trade marketing with in-depth experience of digital and event marketing and an aptitude for category management.

You will have experience of a small start-up entrepreneurial operation. As there will be no marketing team initially, you will understand the need and have the aptitude to work across both strategy and execution.

We are looking for a "foodie" someone displaying food credentials with a genuine interest in food and its nutritional values. You will have a track record of working with and developing Ambassador and Influencer relationships, ideally within the Health & Nutritional sector to promote the brand offering.

Ideally you will have an insight in the UK & European markets that will enable them to modify the existing International Brand Strategy to meet the Regional Markets.

You will also have high energy levels and understand the level of commitment that is required for them to help shape the future success of the Group. Maturity of approach will be backed by strong intellectual rigor and a result focused style.

The successful professional will be a Graduate, probably come with a strong trade marketing background (preferable with a "funky brand" experience) and ideally have a food science understanding.
