National Account Manager ( Wholesale and Convenience ).

Basic salary of between £38,259 to £54,854 depending on experience, plus bonus and company car.

Our client is a well-established force in the confectionery category across Europe however their presence in the UK is limited to a handful of accounts. The potential here is massive and the company have made a strategic decision to invest heavily in the UK sales and marketing infrastructure in order to exploit that potential. The main focus for UK sales will be the Symbol group retail channel ( the likes of Spar, Nisa, Londis, Budgens, Mace etc ) as well as multiple garage forecourts ( the likes of Euro Garages for example ). To be successful in this role you will need a good understanding of how the parent Symbol group works at a central / head office level, as well as how to pull through business via the network of small independent retail businesses operating under the various Symbols.

This business is brimming with potential and the job would suit an energetic and proactive individual wanting to make a name for themselves. The world really is your oyster !

The role involves a considerable amount of travel ( nationwide ) however you will be required to attend the new UK head office ( Tewkesbury ) twice or three times each week.

The ideal living location would be between Birmingham and Bristol on a north / south axis . You will also be required to attend an annual conference in France.

In return for your dedication and efforts, our client will pay a highly competitive basic salary of between £38,259 to £54,854 depending on experience, plus bonus and company car.
