Area Sales Manager – Garden Furniture and Accessories.

£30,152 to £35,219 plus an open ended bonus structure designed to pay between £10k to £12k for on target performance, but substantially more for any sales over target. There is also a choice of company car or car allowance

With a head office in Holland, our client is already an established leader in Europe in the Garden Furniture category, in particular in the garden centre channel. There exists a substantial opportunity in the UK market however, and the company have made a strategic decision to invest heavily in the UK including a state of the art showroom and distribution centre opening early next year in Yorkshire.

There is some existing business here in the UK currently, currently being handled via distributors. This role then is to support and grow those distributors, whilst dealing with the larger independent garden centres directly. The UK is pregnant with potential, and this is a real opportunity for an ambitious person to gain success and recognition very quickly indeed.

To be considered for this exciting position you should be well connected in the independent and / or multi-site garden centre channel, and with experience of either the garden furniture category or a similar category of a seasonal nature.

You will need to be based in Yorkshire, however there will be substantial travel nationwide, plus a requirement to attend a sales meeting in Holland once every 4 or 8 weeks.

In return for your dedication and efforts you will be rewarded well with a basic salary ( paid in Sterling ), of between £30,152 to £35,219 plus an open ended bonus structure designed to pay between £10k to £12k for on target performance, but substantially more for any sales over target. There is also a choice of company car or car allowance with this position.
