Are you a driven and dynamic Senior Marketing professional or Communications manager seeking to drive global awareness, messaging, brand and content efforts? The successful candidate will play a leading role in developing the companies brand awareness, growing and diversifying their audience and nurturing all relationships with key stakeholders, press, partners, analysts and influencers. He/she will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of all PR, Social Media, Messaging and Brand Development across the EMEA market.  

Responsibilities:

  • Taking brands from single channel marketing to a fully integrated approach and strategy
  • Develop an understanding of the customer and consumers, the value the organisation brings, and to use this understanding to shape the strategic planning of campaigns
  • Implementing campaign strategy designed to drive the customer journey through PR, digital, outreach, CRM, ATL/BTL, retail and social, ensuring consistency and buy-in across all markets
  • Managing on-going budgets and forecasting for upcoming activity
  • Managing and owning annual brand plans and positioning
  • Dealing with heads of business and a variety of key stakeholders on business strategy and direct marketing strategy in particular
  • Present marketing planning, promotion and brand engagement communications
  • Deliver campaign feedback to global hubs and thereby adjust Brand and Comms activity in future campaigns focusing on ROI
  • Manage external agencies and in-house including creative, media planning and PR
  • Develop and implement digital strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with Product marketing teams and lead NPD process
  • Coordinate two international marketing meetings annually
  • Managing a team of 3 direct reports of Manager level

 Person Specification:

  • 10+ years’ experience within FMCG marketing communications
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing, with the energy to be effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to challenge the status quo and influence cross-functional teams and local marketing teams
  • International experience required
  • Team-player who is able to lead by example
  • Good awareness of media and communication best practice and innovation
  • Committed to gaining a competitive edge over the market competitors
  • Results orientated and able to lead activities across the business
