Job Details

We are currently looking for a passionate and energetic Marketing Analyst to co-ordinate retailer marketing campaigns to support exciting new product launches in Marks & Spencer.

As well as working with design agencies, you will also work with the with the Greencore Commercial Analysts to analyse data and turn it into meaningful reports, which the Category and Marketing teams will use to generate actionable insight.

Working on-site at M&S’ head office in Central London, you will co-ordinate across multiple internal and external teams. To enable this, the role location is split with 4 days-a-week working out of the M&S head office near Paddington and 1 day-a-week working out of Greencore’s Northampton office.

Main responsibilities

As a Marketing Analyst you will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns in certain categories.

You will need to co-ordinate and secure alignment on marketing materials across multiple teams in M&S and Greencore.

You will need to extract consumer and category data from relevant sources then convert it into standard reports of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to review campaigns and help shape future marketing activations.

You will also respond to ad hoc queries and issue-related requests regarding KPIs and category performance from internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidate

What You’ll Need

You will need to be of Graduate Calibre in a Marketing or Business related subject, with strong numerical and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience of using retailer data and accessing customer data sources. Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills are essential, and the ability to prepare and deliver presentations is required. You will need to have a strong work ethic and thrive in fast-paced environments. Whilst not essential, a passion for food would be preferred, as would experience of social media marketing. You will also need to be comfortable travelling to multiple sites across the UK by both train and car, with a full UK driving license being essential.
