Job Details

When was the last time you felt challenged and inspired by a leadership team which are all about transparency, empowerment and development?  Development not just of business growth but people.  The investment which this FMCG company have seen over recent years is significant and are making a step change in their category.  Sustainability and ethical sourcing being high on the agenda.

Based in London, this FMCG business have both a PL and Branded offering delivering internationally with a number of sites in the UK and operations overseas.  A medium sized company who are established enough to offer structure and development, yet small enough to be nimble, dynamic and move with pace.  

Following investment and change of operation, this FMCG company are now looking to appoint a Commercial Manager/ Senior National Account Manager.  This is a home based position which will see you in the London HO two or three days a week (business needs dependant).  The role will see you take the lead with a Top 4 Grocery retailer in Tesco.  The portfolio is complex and the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of commerciality, strategic JBP development and implementation. What else?

  • Increasing distribution of core range, operating across both brand and private label
  • Manage mutual margin ambitions
  • Agreeing and managing Buying and Selling plans for the year
  • Collaboration with customer and internal colleagues on NPD development and sign off

The successful candidate will hold Top 4 Grocery retail experience, Tesco would be a significant advantage but not an essential requirement.  This will be in a FMCG food/ drink arena and will you be able to demonstrate strategic JBP development and management as well as commercial P&L management.   The role will suit someone with the following behaviour/ characteristics:
