The Client:

Our client, established for over one hundred years, is a leading provider of artisan food products with a remarkable market reputation and history. Their products are endorsed by some of the world's most prominent chefs, celebrities and brands worldwide.

It’s an exciting time to join the business in its next phase of growth; you’ll be responsible for managing and developing accounts within the wholesale and cash & carry sectors, building long-term and lucrative relationships throughout.

The Role:

Your responsibility will be to manage existing accounts whilst prospecting new/dormant clients within wholesale and cash & carry. Attending meetings with new and existing clients to build long-standing relationships, booking strategic appointments to promote growth within the C&C sector all the while working closely with a senior manager for support and development. You will maintain outstanding customer service under all circumstances, to ensure brand and heritage mindfulness. You will have budget responsibility and implement innovative promotional activities to increase profit and grow customer base.

The Person:

You have a demonstrable track record within an FMCG environment, with a working knowledge of the wholesale/cash & carry marketplace. You are a natural relationship builder, who understands the important of service and thrives on customer contact. You are passionate about quality, “premium” products and marketplaces – plus a love for and interest in food will be helpful!

A full UK driving license is a necessity.
