The role as National Account Manager will be integral to future growth for my client with a key focus on the convenience channel, an area with significant long term growth plans.

Our client are a leading branded FMCG business, based in the West Midlands who have exciting plans to gain market share across the UK, with a key focus on this role driving the convenience channel, an integral part of future growth.

Description

The role as National Account Manager will be responsible for the following roles & responsibilities;
  • Delivery of revenue and profitability targets through the successful retention, management and growth of an existing account portfolio (Convenience channel)
  • Building and the effective execution of Joint Business and Account Development plans in partnership with your customers
  • Ability to drive leading Branded products across the FMCG sector
  • Be the face of the company with excellent customer focus at all times
  • Managing the long term strategic direction of your account portfolio through strategic road mapping
  • Drive NPD and work closely with marketing to align the consumer market-place
  • Work closely as a team to ensure strong internal engagement






Profile

Key Skills: National Account Manager
  • Minimum 3 year's experience in FMCG Food
  • Experience within National Accounts - or NAE/JNAM looking to step up
  • Strong experience within the Retail Convenience channel (pre-requisite)
  • Ability to build close relationships with key contacts, drive sales & create sustainable joint business plans that deliver long term
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy






Job Offer

circa £45,000 (dependant on experience)
