Business Development Manager

Location: Surrey - Berkshire

Salary: £25,000 - £30,0000 + Car + Bonus

This is an opportunity to work with one of the largest family owned wholesale businesses in the UK food and drink industry. The business employs over 2000 people in the UK and has seen incredible growth across many different divisions over the last 30 years.

The purpose of this role is to develop sales and loyalty within their forecourt retail business and push sales through this channel. This role will encompass monitoring the compliance of the accounts within your area and working closely with the retailers to identify avenues of growth. There is a firm belief in working side by side with the retailers to ensure that both businesses are successful and strive to grow together.

You will manage an area in Surrey and Berkshire and be responsible for approximately 30 sites, developing retail business plans, facilitating improvements within the team, increasing customer and business relationships and working to operational targets.

This successful applicant for this position will have;

• A full UK driving license
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic knowledge of telesales and depot processes
• Previous face to face sales experience
• Excellent written and communication skills
• A drive to succeed and progress
