Key Account Manager (Amazon) - Toys

£35-38,000 Basic, Bonus, Company Car or Car Allowance + Benefits

Our Client is a rapidly expanding Toy Company. A vacancy has arisen for a Key Account Manager within the Business.

The main thrust of this KAM role will be to look after the Amazon account which has massive potential to grow. Our Client needs someone who knows Amazon – that is an essential.

In terms of Amazon experience, the basic minimum is that candidates have a good understanding of Vendor Central, however our Client would like as much Amazon expertise as possible so people who understand how to get to be silver, gold or platinum traders would be in with a readymade advantage. Also anybody who has a track record of substantially increasing sales on Amazon would be in with an advantage too.

In addition to looking after Amazon, the job holder will have an involvement with the company’s own online portal, as well as some other quite large online specialist traders. Exposure to any other online retailers in addition to Amazon would be a bit of a bonus, but not essential. There will also be a requirement to look after some traditional retail accounts as well as online so candidates with experience of managing bricks and mortar retail accounts as well as Amazon will have an advantage.

Category experience – Toys would be a bonus but certainly not essential. Other good categories would be gifts, housewares and sports goods / equipment. However they are genuinely very open to seeing people from other general non-food consumer goods who have good Amazon experience.

Remuneration – ideally £35k basic, but they can possibly stretch to £38k for a candidate who literally ticks every box. Bonus. Choice of car or car allowance.

Living location – Candidates can live anywhere in the country, however there’s probably an advantage if the job holder lives within a couple of hours of the office in the South East (North of London).

The role is home based but the jobholder will need to be in the office when required by the business ( this could be once a week, or it could be more ( or less ) depending on business needs at any point in time ). Luxury overnight accommodation is available if required.
