Category Manager - range, price, promotion and merchandising – up to £55,000 plus excellent package – Home Counties

 

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading successful retail client who is seeking a category manager- range, price, promotion and merchandising to join their dynamic and expanding team in the Home Counties to join their expanding team.

 

The successful category manager- range, price, promotion and merchandising must have demonstrable experience of a category role gained from a food or convenience retailer. Your responsibilities as the category manager- range, price, promotion and merchandising will to develop category strategies that will deliver the sales and profit targets. This will include pricing initiatives, promotional strategies and layout and merchandising initiatives.  You will manage internal and external stakeholders to optimise your categories. In addition the role has a strategic element focused on identifying new concepts and services and bringing them to market. You will be someone who can identify new areas of opportunity and develop and gain commitment for your category strategy. You will have excellent negotiation and influencing skills and will be able to demonstrate a can do attitude.
