National Account Manager

Reporting to a Senior NAM you will develop a business plan and sales strategy across a range of smaller national accounts that will deliver profit and growth as well as supporting the SNAMs on Sainsbury and Tesco. You will develop relationships cross functionally, drive sales and manage the trade promotional spend, as well as developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to step into your first full P+L accountable role on your own account base as well as supporting the senior account team on a top 4 multiple.
You are currently a Key Account Manager or National Account Executive looking for a bigger career opportunity. An ability to negotiate at a range of customer levels, especially buyer, backed up with a grasp of category management is essential. You will be an action orientated, self-starting and passionate individual with a proven ability to unlock accounts and make things happen. Ideally you are a graduate with a business-related degree with FMCG food, drink or non-food experience, this will be the next level of role you are seeking.
