Transport Manager - £ 38,000-£42,000

We are looking to recruit a Transport Manager to join a leading international manufacturer of convenience foods and lead the transport team to ensure operational compliance with statutory requirements and group policy.

In this Transport Manager role you will be expected to provide leadership and direction to the transport team to ensure that they are engaged, focused, developed and deliver to their potential.

The successful candidate MUST have experience working in a fast paced distribution/ logistics environment managing a team of drivers as well as have the ability to work and improve budgets through effective monitoring of KPI’s and resource planning.

Knowledge of multi-drop deliveries in van operations and depot to depot trunking of HGV’s refrigeration and BRC standards would be advantageous.
