Job Details

Due to the nature of the role this position is home based, all we ask is you live commutable to an airport! Our Head Office is based in Plymouth (you'll be there very infrequently) and our new popcorn factory is in Leicester (much easier to get to!). 

** This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract covering maternity leave – but with strong potential to become permanent**

Thick cut British crisps done just right. Hand cooked in Devon with real taste, proper crunch, and made by real people. That’s Burts Chips in a bag.

We source the best potatoes, slice and cook them in small batches, and season them with the best flavours around, often sourced from local partners. As well as our best loved favourites such as Seasalt and Cheese & Onion, we make great crisps with unique flavours like Firecracker Lobster, Guinness®, and Coconut Curry, working alongside our brands partners Guinness®, Levi Roots and Hobgoblin.

Never ones to rest on our laurels, we’re always working on something new - check out our newest brand partner Jim Beam®,  we are delivering outstanding results with our International Sales in Europe, the Middle East and the USA (40% growth in 2018). This position will focus on Europe specifically and involve a fair amount of predominantly short haul travel working with our distribution partners in their respective countries.

We like to keep things simple – so we want an activity driven, authentic individual with real drive and ambition looking to prove themselves in a growing business – we hit a 20% year on year growth turnover since 2012 and are looking forward to increased sales and growth in 2019. You will really need to have existing experience in Export/International Sales, and be confident and comfortable in your own abilities, and understand the nuances of working in that type of environment.

You’ll be from FMCG food and drink and have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the Export Sales marketplace and be looking to join a business like ours - brand and value driven, and in a sustained period of growth.
