Key Accounts/BDM position with an exceptional Foodservice wholesale

Our core range consists of Frozen, Chilled and Ambient produce although we also list non food products, fresh produce, seafood and fresh meat.
This portfolio also spans branded and own brands lines meaning that we are able to position ourselves as a genuine one stop solution concerning catering supplies to our clients across the foodservice market.
This loyal customer base spans both profit and cost sector including high profile restaurant, hotel, leisure, education and healthcare accounts.
We are looking to grow our sales team through the recruitment of excellent, experienced foodservice sales professionals.

This is an excellent, Key Accounts Business Development role, with exciting career prospects and a rewarding commission scheme.
You will be responsible for circa 90 Key Accounts across a designated area, of which 60 are core high performing growth accounts.
These accounts span all areas of the Foodservice sector, but in particular there are a high volume of clients within Contract Catering, Hotel Groups and Education.
50% of the role involves managing these existing high performing Foodservice accounts with a view to assisting retention and upselling and cross selling to increase share of wallet.
The other 50% of the role involves developing and winning new business within these account sectors and adding further accounts to the area.
This is a key position within our organisation with realistic opportunities to develop to National Accounts level.

We are seeking to attract experienced candidates with a target driven approach to sales and a dynamic approach to account management and business development.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in sales within the Foodservice sector.
• This experience can be with any type of Foodservice organisation, although experience working within Foodservice wholesale will be of particular interest.
• Candidates must be strong relationship builder with excellent account management skills but also have a flair for Business Development.
• Candidates must be target driven team players with a strong ethos for customer service.
