Are you in a commercial agricultural position?

We are working with a forward thinking and energetic Agri-business' based all over the UK. We are helping them to bring some fresh talent to their very successful Farm Trading team. They work very closely with the rural population getting involved with local events and building meaningful relationships with farmers and businesses alike.

The Opportunity:

In this role you will be covering a really friendly and vibrant area with great support and team behind you enabling you to thrive.

Within this role you will get the chance to grow and develop the business and discuss new products and services with existing and new clients. It is also an opportunity to get involved with the local community and develop new and existing relationships which will contribute to overall growth of your area. In developing new relationships you will gain the ability to buy grain, oilseeds and pulses from new and existing suppliers to hit targets and maximise both service to the customers and the best possible outcome to the clients.

This role will require a commercial background because you will be looking after much more than sales of cereals. You will get the opportunity to work with fertilisers and seed in order to provide a full service to your customers. You will be working with a close team of agronomists, internal managers and grain storage professionals so a fantastic degree of communication skills at all levels is essential to succeeding and working successfully.

A Successful Candidate?

To be successful in this role you will possess the following characteristics:
A strong and proven commercial awareness and success in dealing with farmers in previous roles. Trading or sales would be preferable but not essential.
The ability to build and maintain relationships with existing and new business, along with the resilience to maintain steady growth.
An excellent skill set, high numeracy and literacy along with good Microsoft Office skills.
FACTS qualification preferable but not essential and training will be provided to help you gain the qualification further down the road.
