Commercial Graduate/Trainee | Growing Business | Progression

We are currently working with a very progressive and forward thinking FMCG business who are looking to bring in a Commercially focussed graduate, with a view to setting up their own unofficial graduate scheme. This is a great opportunity for the right person to learn their business on the way up through it and to end up in a position to help them achieve their significant growth plans over the next few years.

The Role:

You will be working very closely with the Managing Director and assisting him with the day-to-day commercial workings of the business.
You will gain exposure to a range of their customers as well as being heavily involved in tenders for new business opportunities.
You will also have the opportunity to work closely with their Procurement team and to understand their supply base.

The Candidate:

You will be an enthusiastic and down to earth graduate who is looking to get into an industry where hard work is rewarded.
You will need to be a self starter and not be afraid to put the hours in when needed. There is a good balance with this role but some periods are busier than others.
The ability to engage with a broad range of different people is important as you will need to be able to converse with external and internal stakeholders alike.
