Due to an internal restructure an excellent opportunity is now available for an experienced National Account Manager to join an industry leading business within the homewares industry.
Our client is a premium manufacturer of homeware products and is part of a major international group. Operating at the mid to upper end of the market, their customers include all of the UK’s leading department store groups and high street retailers. This is a business that offers a fantastic working culture and will provide you with the opportunity to work in a business that is both innovative and entrepreneurial.
This is an exciting position where you will take responsibility for a number of our client’s key accounts. Customers will include multiple retailers and department stores such as House of Fraser, Debenhams plus industry specific national retailers. You will have P&L accountability for your customers and be expected to work closely with them in order to create bespoke new product ideas. This will then translate into working closely with other internal departments such as design and NPD and playing a lead role in managing the critical path of products. Ultimately your aim is to grow both sales and profitability.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will be a high calibre candidate who is ambitious, hardworking and capable of progressing in the future to manage large national accounts. You will ideally be operating at Key Account Manager looking to take the next step in your career or at National Account Manager Level currently with experience managing department store accounts. Prior experience of the homewares or home furnishings product categories isn’t essential. However, you must have experience of a non-food consumer product category and will have worked on bespoke products, playing a key role in liaising with internal colleagues in design and product development. You will have a good education and be intelligent, entrepreneurial and have excellent communication skills.
