This opportunity will allow you to make a difference in a Business Development Executive position that is sitting within the UK Foodservice team. This is a high performing team and you will be tasked on always going above and beyond to challenge yourself in order to reach the next level. Reporting into the UK Business Development team, you will be targeted with identifying new business opportunities and through doing this you will be able to liaise with key senior stakeholders in the marketplace.
There will be a supreme focus on achieving your sales targets and whilst doing this it is key that you maintain customer relationships and this includes dealing with any problems they may have. When you are maintaining these customer relationships, you will then start to make sure you are identifying their drivers and therefore forming long term partnerships with them. Coinciding with this, you will be tasked with preparing sales presentations, contracts and proposals as well as working on promotions and product launches in this challenging role. Lastly, you will be tasked with travelling nationwide in order to meet your clients as well as secure new business.
What you will need to possess?
You will need to have prior business development experience to be eligible for this role due to the tasks you will be given. Someone with good communication skills will be ideal for this role as there is a considerable amount of customer interaction as well as the interactions internally as well. Alongside the opportunity to develop new business opportunities, there will be the responsibility of account management as there are a number of Foodservice accounts that would require your work. A commercial minded person will be ideal as this will allow you to achieve your targets and be results driven.
It also key for you to be an empathetic person as your main goal is to satisfy your customers. This will enhance their experience with you and improve your name in the marketplace. Combined with this, someone with an analytical mind will be at an advantage in this role as you will be analysing a considerable amount of data and producing reports so it is important that you are able to do so. Lastly, as it is a high performing team as well as a high performing role, it is vital that you are able to work under pressure and you thrive in such a dynamic working environment.
