Territory Sales Manager – Garden Industry

Field based – Northern Territory

Competitive Salary + Commission

I am now currently recruiting for a new client of mine within the Garden Industry, who is looking to bring in a passionate and hardworking Territory Sales Manager to look after the Northern territory for the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right experience to join a wonderful and exciting business.

A firmly established business within the Garden Industry, this business has gone from strength to strength since their inception and are looking to grow and develop moving towards the end of the year and then into 2019. The company specialises in a wide range of products for the garden, as well as seasonal products and gifts. You will be mainly focusing on the independent garden centre channel so any experience with selling into that channel will be desirable, and will support your application.

The ideal candidate will have passion for the industry and will have a driven and motivated attitude towards relationship building with new and existing customers. You will also have proven experience in business to business sales, preferably within the garden industry, with the ability to work autonomously on your assigned territory.

The ideal location for the right candidate would be Sunderland or the immediate surrounding area. This location is a key part of your application, as you will need to be able to work the territory effectively from your home.

Some key points for the right candidate:

  • Industry knowledge would be desirable but isn’t necessary
  • Experience in B2B sales is essential
  • Up and coming, looking for the next step up
  • Sunderland based, looking after the North East territory
  • Strong and motivated work ethic
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Enthusiastic, charismatic and determined personality
