Senior National Account Manager (Health & Beauty) – Reading - £60,000 + £5,000 c/a + £100k OTE + benefits

P3 Search & Selection are excited to be working with an entrepreneurial business who operate a lean product portfolio of health and beauty brands. The business is dynamic and fast growing, they have strong financial backing and their flat structure would see you having a direct reporting line to the MD.

To date, the business have developed a strong online brand and whilst this continues to grow, their sights are now set of developing their high street retailer relationships - both in the UK and abroad.

The Senior National Account Manager will be responsible for picking up existing high street accounts and nurturing this business. You would be managing sales growth in the company's number one account and mapping out other key partners you would like to be working with.

The business continues to innovate their product line-up through NPD and further increase their brand awareness through online and offline marketing.

In addition to the competitive base salary of up to £60k, there will be a car allowance and a strong bonus scheme providing an industry leading OTE package of circa £100k. This really is a great time to come on board, the future plans are to further grow the sales function so progression opportunities for the right candidate are almost guaranteed!

The company headquarters are in Reading. You would be field based, visiting clients as and when required.

The requirement to be in the office is 1-2 days per week, if you reside further afield then 1-2 days bi-weekly would not be an issue.

Summary of key responsibilities;

•Manage specific sales accounts, improving turnover and profitability through promotions, range extensions and development of new products initiatives.

•Conduct customer reviews on a regular basis to ensure KPI's are met. This includes delivery performance, quality management, customer service levels, innovations.

•To manage and analyse customer commercials, this includes analysing sales performance and trends.

•Provide forecasts, monitor stock commitment and liability, prices and margin maintenance.

•To regularly review and carry out research into competitors, consumer attitudes, market activity and new initiatives (ingredients and packaging) and interpret how this information can be taken forward to new business opportunities.

•To present new ideas, products and recommend and implement promotional activity in line with customer account objectives, as well as new accounts.

•Actively seek out new business development opportunities within both existing and new customers

Key requirements;

Essential

•National Account experience in either healthcare, beauty/cosmetics, dental or nutrition

•Experience working with High Street retailers

•Be a strong negotiator and communicator

•Strong retail knowledge and excellent negotiation skills

•Proven track record in account development and successful JBP strategy

•Strong analytic sales skills - P&L Accountability

Desirable

•Have prior experience in managing Boots / Superdrug account

•Experience selling into clients internationally
