Their increasingly popular products are found in all major grocery retailers and their brand is recognised for its high quality ingredients and for truly understanding its consumers by always looking at things from their point of view. Their ethical credentials are visible throughout their supply chain and in social and charity work they carry out.

They are about to embark on an exciting new phase of development, to bring out more ranges of products and grow the commercial team. With an ambitious growth target over the next 5 years, they are looking for a motivated, passionate and talented National Account Executive. You will be joining a team of people who meet personal and business challenges with hard work and a smile. They not only see things as they are and ask why - but see things that never were and ask why not.

The Role
As the successful National Account Executive you will have full responsibility for a number of Grocery accounts, including promotional plans, listing and distribution of NPD, securing shelf space in line with market share and/or category objectives. You will be involved and responsible for developing and implementing a clear defined channel strategy for your account base. You will also be expected to pro-actively track performance of your account(s) understanding the key drivers of the performance and working closely with the National Account Manager and the cross functional team to implement corrective action to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan.

The ‘ideal’ FIT:

  • Have experience within an Account Executive position
  • Have a willingness to learn and be challenged to think differently as well as the ambition to progress your career
  • Have excellent commercial & numeracy skills
  • Be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment
  • Be a brilliant communicator & networker
  • Preferably be degree educated or equivalent

Our client is paying a competitive salary. This is an office based contract so you must be commutable to Reading.
