Account Manager – Food Branded

 

Up to £45k + Car +Package                                                        Buckinghamshire / Berkshire

 

This is a truly exciting opportunity to work for a multi £billion global food group providing high quality branded food products to the UK's leading retailers, foodservice and manufacturing customer. As one of the leaders in their market place they represent innovation, quality, added value and delivery.

 

Due to expansion we are now looking for an exceptionally driven account manager who is truly excited by the growth potential in this dynamic business and team.

 

The Role:

 

  • Reporting to the Sales Controller you will take responsibility for driving growth within a portfolio of really exciting major customers, as well as identifying additional customer opportunities that will grow the business still further.


  • Operating at the forefront of your market you will be responsible for developing effective partnership relationships with all customers, identifying new product opportunities across all categories whilst building brand and market share.   


  • Working closely with other team members you will be seen as a product champion in your area and will be instrumental in helping to achieve the YOY growth plan.

     

    The Person:

     


  • Of graduate calibre you will have a track record of sales success and be driven by the level of strategic involvement you will have in this role.


  • Already operating as an Account Manager or Executive you will have gained experience within retail or convenience customers or manufacturing accounts.


  • A background gained ideally within a food FMCG business you will have excellent negotiation skills and preferably have experience of working with branded products.


  • An understanding of the NPD process and category marketing would be an advantage.

     

    Commercially astute and business aware, you will have a true passion for food, a passion for business and be able to demonstrate a track record of results. You will be innovative, self motivated and dynamic and have the ability to grow within the organisation.
