The Role

This is a home-based role, with extensive UK travel and requirement to visit the Richmond office on occasion. You will be reporting to and working closely with the Country Manager and interacting closely with the Field Development Manager and International Brand Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible to develop and strengthen the growth of the designated Convenience accounts; including major Wholesalers within the UK. This will include development of existing accounts as well as driving new business. They will be responsible for listing related preparation, negotiation within given guidelines, profitability, and a solid follow-up process.

Some of these clients will include Booker, Dhamecha, Nisa, Spar (Blakemore / Henderson's / CJ Lang / Appleby / James Hall), Bestway and Parfetts.

In the future there will also be the opportunity for the right candidate to grow within the role, working together with the Country Manager gaining experience on major key accounts such as Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrison and Asda.

The Candidate

We are looking for an eager, pragmatic and analytical team player with Key Account/National Account experience from branded consumer goods industry with strong inter-personal skills. The ideal candidate is triggered by new ideas and challenges. He/she should be both strategic and consumer driven and with a hands-on approach. Professional experience required

Significant experience within a FMCG Key Account/National Account role, working within the Convenience channel highly preferable (e.g. Nia, Booker, Dhamecha, Spar, Bestway, Blakemore)

Good knowledge of consumer market and trade channels in UK, field sales or marketing experience advantageous.



Package - Salary circa £45k dependant on experience, car, % of salary bonus, health care and pension plus 31 days holiday (including bank holidays)
