Key Account Manager
We are proud to be working with a leading & award winning garden sundries suppliers who are looking for a Key Account Manager to look after the major garden centre groups.
To manage a portfolio of strategic national accounts to maximise sales and margin while delivering excellent customer service.
You must have strong sales and presentation skills; a reliable and accurate communicator; organised and attention to detail; numerate; flexible; self-starter.
Manage & maintain a portfolio of key customer accounts.
Maximise return on investment with all accounts, in terms of both revenue and margin.
Build close working relationships with key customers to grow existing and new product ranges and drive higher sales volumes.
Work closely with the existing Sales Managers on these accounts where appropriate, to both increase sales and margin, as well as working with team members to deliver additional growth opportunities through best practise.
Identify new products or areas for growth which could open up new customer sales channels for the company.
As well as all of the above, you will also have excellent working relationships with the garden centre groups and great knowledge and enthusiasm for the gardening/ garden centre sector.
Preferably located in the South/ Midlands, this role will require regular travel across the UK.
