Customer Development Manager – FMCG National Accounts

Basic Salary £40,000 - £55,000 depending upon experience + 12% bonus based on company performance, Fully Expensed Company Car, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance and various other corporate benefits

Location: We are ideally looking for candidates based in the East Midlands / South East location of the country however willing to accept candidate applications from elsewhere in the UK providing the candidates are happy to travel to London on a weekly basis. Ideal Locations include: Milton Keynes, Leicester, Northampton, Bedford, Cambridge, Luton, Peterborough and Coventry 

The Role
  • We are a globally recognised manufacturer of various FMCG branded goods and seeking to recruit a new Customer Development Manager to manage one of the following accounts – Sainsburys, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, 
  • The key function of this role is to drive profitable growth within the account managing all dimensions of the customer relationships internally and externally.
  • The role ensures strong customer relationships and influence at customer head office to implement solutions (to include but not limited to sales revenue, trade revenue optimisation, customer profitability, category growth, category leadership, product range, new product launches, placement and pricing) throughout the chain that deliver mutually beneficial results for the customer and company. 
The Candidate
  • We are looking for candidates that have had experience at dealing with head office level in one of the 4 major multiples
  • Ideally candidates that have had FMCG experience at NAM or NAE level working in a smaller business and now looking for career progression and growth into a larger globally recognised firm that can support your development
