A well-established wine business is looking for a marketing manager whilst the team goes through some changes. The role is working in a small marketing team managing the multi-channel marketing campaign nationally.

The role

A well-established wine business is looking for a marketing manager whilst the team goes through some changes. The role is working in a small marketing team managing the multi-channel marketing campaign nationally.

You will be tasked with both offline and online activity predominantly targeting trade buyers and private collectors. There is a large element of offline activity which includes brochures, international events, direct mail and some below the line advertising.

The organisation has overhauled its online offering and their website alongside their digital marketing activity has been ramped up. You will be working with the wider marketing team to help write content and update the website as necessary.

This wine business likes to do things differently, when they were first established they developed unique relationships and sought out trend setting wines. They still adhere to this philosophy today which has been demonstrated by impressive growth.

The person

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:

• Excellent b2b marketing skills ideally from the drinks business
• A real passion and understanding of the wine trade
• A good mix of strategic and operational marketing experience
• Excellent online and offline marketing experience
• Strong project management skills
• Some international experience would be useful
• Excellent written and verbal skills
