Maintenance Manager

Company:

We are delighted to be working with a leading high growth food manufacturer who produce both branded and own label products for the retail and foodservice channels.

Their products continue to build sales volume and they are therefore looking for a Maintenance Manager who will report into the Engineering Manager and take responsibility for leading the preventative maintenance plan.





Role:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will have responsibility for the management of a team of on-site engineers, providing support in a fast paced environment. Working with the Engineering Manager, you will ensure the systems are in place to achieve the KPI`s, and will facilitate the learning and development required to continually develop the team.





Requirements:

The successful individual will have experience of both electrical and mechanical engineering, and be committed to continuous improvement. Whilst experience of reactive and proactive maintenance is important, there must also be a strong desire for `promoting a right first time, quality and safety led culture`.

Applicants will need to demonstrate the following experience:

• Experience managing a team within food manufacturing
• An engineering qualification, with experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering
• Lean and CI
• Reactive and proactive engineering strategies
