  • Up to £65k (dependent of experience) plus car or allowance (c£7.5k); bonus c15%; strong blue chip package

We are currently seeking an ecom expert to manage Ocado & Waitrose/Morrisons Business Account Manager role for a major Global Consumer Products business whose brands hold #1 or #2 share positions in the categories they operate. Additionally you will be responsible for tapping into the food delivery revolution and identify where they can work with Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Hello Fresh and the rest! Currently the portfolio is worth c£13m and growing +20% YOY but with a target of c£30m in the next couple of years! 

Having invested heavily in their eCommerce & Digital capability they are now looking to grow the team and appoint someone to take ownership of their Ocado & Waitrose/Morrisons relationship. As with many businesses right now, Ocado is seen as a key pillar for unlocking eCommerce growth and whilst they are experiencing strong YOY growth right now, there is still a huge opportunity to unlock further growth and deliver improved online activation.

This is a key appointment for the business and you will need to be commercially strong as you'll be managing a P&L, in addition to having a good understanding of media planning/media investment (offline or online) in order to work with Ocado to deliver the right activation to support the wider online strategy.

What is really important to this business is having an individual who is passionate and knowledgeable about the digital arena. Past experience of a commercial FMCG environment is desired but not essential. What they are looking for is someone with knowledge of how the online retailers operate and has a real desire to get involved with the digital side of FMCG. Personally the ideal candidate will be driven, focused and inquisitive with an entrepreneurial flair.
