An industry leading and successful UK Retailer based in the North West are currently seeking a Promotions Manager to join their team.
Your New Role
The purpose of the role is be mange and deliver the promotional calendar by working closely with the Buying, Merchandising and Marketing team to create and implement promotion strategy to maximise the delivery of Financial targets. This will be handled by planning and overseeing the promotional calendar to ensure that customer focused and market leading promotions are delivered across the business. You are required to provide a financial overview of promotional activity and a detailed forecast of performance through analysing promotional stock and sales forecasting ensuring profitability and performance figures are achievable. You will work in partnership with relevant teams to ensure all promotions deliver the strategic direction and handle all promotional support activity. You will also be involved with store visits with members of the team to assess and review activity and to provide clear and essential information.
What You'll Need To Succeed
For this role they are ideally looking for someone who has a strong understanding in a Multi-Channel Retail environment. You need to have strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail. Being commercial focused is key, with the ability to manage critical path, accuracy of information and timely implementation. Also having experience in creating and implementing strategic and tactical promotional plans is favoured.
