Senior Export Manager | Livestock | Midlands

We are working with one of the leading agricultural research bodies in the UK to add a talented export professional to their team. Working to deliver industry leading knowledge and up to date information, we are looking for a leading professional who can take on this role and benefit those in the agri-food industry by sharing their knowledge.

The Role:

This role will see you taking responsibility for putting together and executing a livestock business plan with the long term aims of the business in mind. This will be done by identifying target markets and gathering appropriate insights where necessary to put together the best tactical strategy and a successful business plan. After putting together this strategy you are key to its success, monitoring KPI's and its achievements.
You would also be the point of contact for livestock exporters and able to advise them on their commercial and marketing capabilities.

The Candidate:

To be a successful candidate for this varied role you would have:
A great level of experience in export marketing or communications sector, including practical export experience.
Knowledge of the livestock sector and international trade.
Great communication skills alongside the ability to manage budgets and projects to a high level of success.
Any qualifications in CIM or CIPR is an advantage.
