Senior National Account Manager
£60,000, bonus, pension & 25 days holiday
Reporting into the UK Head of Sales, as Senior National Account Manager you will be working for one of the UK’s most forward thinking branded food manufacturers. The business is currently growing by over 300% YoY. Because of this continued year on year growth there is now a requirement for a Senior National Account Manager to join the organisations already high performing commercial division.
As Senior National Account Manager you will be tasked with generating new business and developing sales within the agreed portfolio of grocery, OOH, foodservice and international customers, whilst also managing a team of 1 National Account Executive. You will be expected to present the organisations product portfolio in the most effective manner possible, building relationships by visiting these customers, and maintaining regular contact throughout the year. In addition, it is required that you generate sales with your customer base at a good gross profit margin. Finally, you will be expected to develop a detailed insight across multiple channels, translating into expertise that will be highly regarded by your peers and suppliers alike.
To be considered for this role you will require the following:
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a branded FMCG environment.
- At least 2 years’ experience managing national accounts across one if not all grocery, OOH, foodservice or international channels.
- To be a proven relationship builder, with strong and effective communication and listening skills.
- Have the ability to embrace change in a fast growth and vibrant FMCG environment.
