International Development Manager – Bulk Spirits / Contract Bottling

£60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

The Business:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing, premium spirits businesses. The business is incredibly innovative and entrepreneurial and boasts a portfolio that includes a number of award winning gins, rums, whiskeys and speciality liqueurs. They also own one of the UK’s most highly regarded distilleries with a fantastic history and heritage. They are now looking to recruit a talented International Development Manager to work within their Bulk Spirits team.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Full P&L responsibility for a range of existing Business to Business customers (including bulk spirit and contract bottling contract)
  • Identifying prospects for new business contracts to deliver sales targets
  • Working in partnership with your customer base maximising the commercial opportunity for both parties
  • Taking ownership of key private label / bottling projects to ensure they are delivered successfully and adhere to set timeframes
  • Closely working with internal stakeholders to ensure that obstacles and challenges are overcome with profitable results

In order to be considered you will need to demonstrate:

  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the drinks industry
  • Examples of working with FMCG manufacturing and B2B customers to deliver NPD projects
  • An ability to develop business and manage large existing contracts within the B2B sector
  • A knowledge of bulk spirit / contract bottling processes
  • Strong commercial ability, negotiation and influencing skills
